The first of January 2010 the organisation merged legally and organisational wise into one healthcare organisation which approaches the care market on a small-scale basis. In respect of the changes in the financing flows from the central government, the healthcare organisation is now financed, based on a system of diagnose-related groups (DBCs), and secondly, the development of a market for long term care based on care-load packages(ZZPs). The goal of these changes is to stimulate the creativity in the healthcare market to search new manners to organize healthcare. Business processes must be redesigned in search of operational excellence. AG Business Development reviewed legislation on two subjects to optimize the financing. Furthermore the spending of the money is reviewed and proposals are made to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of these spending.
